AWARDS & DISTINCTIONS

Artemis Karamolegos Winery has won many prestigious awards at the most important international wine competitions. In March 2017, Santorini 2016 received the Judges' Selection award for the best Greek white wine of the TEXSOM IWA 2017 competition which is the most important wine competition in the USA and one of the most influential worldwide. It is organized by a team of Master Sommeliers and the judging panel is composed by some of the most respected Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and internationally renowned people of wine industry. Beside this highest distinction for Santorini 2016, Assyrtiko 2016 won also a Gold Award at the same competition.

Pyritis 2015 received Silver Medal and excellent score 94/100 at Decanter WWA 2017. Important awards and other high distinctions are continuous for our wines during all these years at international wine competitions such as Decanter, Mundus Vini, IWSC (International Wine & Spirits Competition) and Thessaloniki IWSC.

We have also received excellent reviews from Master Sommeliers, Masters of Wine and Wine Experts worldwide, such as Yiannis Karakasis MW, Andy Myers MS, Mark Squires at Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, John Szabo MS, Julia Harding MW from MW Jancis Robinson MW’s team, Andreas Larsson etc.
