THE "FLAGSHIP" AEGEAN RED VARIETY
VARIETY: Mandilaria 100%
SOURCE OF GRAPES: Grapes were sourced from old vines of average 60 years of age, planted in the volcanic, stony soils of Karterados, Mesaria and Kamari at lower altitudes up to 300 m above sea level.
WINEMAKING: Grapes were sun-dried for one day. Classic red vinification followed at low temperatures with short maceration period. The wine is bottled in March following the harvest from stainless steel tanks, expressing intense varietal typicity and vivacity of primary fruit.
TASTING NOTE: Youthful and lifted nose with red fruit aromas, spices and Mediterranean herbs. Stylish and immediate on the palate, with refreshing acidity, firm tannins and elegant personality.
AGEING POTENTIAL: Up to 2-3 years from the vintage
SERVED: Drink at 14-16°C.
